This was a fun and intriguing first newsletter!!! Was perfect to read with my lunchtime coffee, and remind me to prepare for the full moon tonight and go preorder your books from my local indie bookshop.

I knew crepescular! Spent part of my life working with native Ontario wildlife as an educator so we got to use that word often; great newsletter!

Your blog is offering everything and more, Piper! I'm so excited for next month. Your information pertaining the Ars Goetia is everything I could have wanted to know and then some. I study demonology as well, and I love your passion and courage for pursing an M.A. in Folklore. You're awesome!

I love this! I just recently started watching "Evil" on Netflix and saw they had a legend of the demon hierarchy in the show. And right after your little lesson about them pops up. Guess the deities that be are telling me I need to learn a thing or two from you!

First time commenting here. Very interested in the occult, but a real novice.

One thing I was happy to discover is when viewing ancient manuscripts or tomes or grimoires, Google Lens is able to do a surprisingly good job at translating ancient Greek, Hebrew, Latin, German, etc. While the translation is not always perfect, it is often illuminating and can point the viewer through the stacks or the vast reaches of the internet to find new vocabulary or points of interest. For example, just today I learned Adonai was a respectful way of mentioning God without saying his name... like when some are reluctant to use the Lord's name in vain.

As for the Facebook post that led me to your Instagram page and this newsletter, I am grateful something good came from mucking about in social media.

I look forward to reading more. Good luck with your endeavors.
